Employment Litigation

We represent publicly traded, mid-sized, and start-up companies in state and federal trial and appellate courts, before administrative agencies such as the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing, and in alternative dispute resolution forums such as AAA and JAMS.

We handle charges, investigations, and litigation involving (a) claims for wrongful termination and demotion; (b) claims for discrimination, harassment, and retaliation (under the California Fair Employment and Housing Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans With Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the California Labor Code, and other applicable state and federal statutes); (c) claims based on various torts or contract disputes, such as fraud, negligent hiring or supervision, infliction of emotional distress, breach of contract, and breach of the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing; and (d) claims involving wage and hour disputes.

We strive to dispose of employment cases before trial, but when necessary, we are skilled trial attorneys who have tried or arbitrated employment cases to verdict.
